Volunteers always prove to be an integral part of any ministry, and here at Philadelphia Evangelical Baptist Church, it is no exception! It is unfortunate to know that 10% of the congregation actively participate in volunteering aspects of ministry. Therefore, volunteering is a vital concern for any spiritually healthy ministry.

We do well to remember the words of our Lord Jesus, “the harvest is plenteous and the laborers are few, pray ye therefore that the Lord of the Harvest to send forth laborers into His vineyard!” Because, time is not long, and in know the times that we live in; seeing that we’re the salt of the earth, and if the salt loses its savor it is then good for nothing: It’s time for all volunteers everywhere to be a difference-maker in their homes, churches and abroad, especially at Philadelphia Evangelical Baptist Church.

Whether you attend or not, volunteer; whether you’re a member or not, volunteer; whether you’re a believer or not, volunteer and perhaps become a member! You are the salt of the earth, Get shaking, get shaking, and get shaking!
